Janpan Construction Equipment manufacturers Association promulgate on July 30 that the delivery of construction equiment decrease by 65% on year-on-year basis. Due to the weak economy, demand of the Japanese construction machinery shrinks sharply, which led to a hard time for Komatsu and Hitachi.

The Association stated a total sales value  of 82.5 billion Japanese Yen in July for excavator, tractor, crane and other construction and mining equipment.

The biggest manufacturer for construction equipment Komatsu declear a decline of 92% in profit for the first quater of 2009, and Hitachi construction machinery Co. also decleared a loss.
